RumbleFest 2012...
A Celebration of The American Hot Rod

Show Information

What's RumbleFest all about? Well it's NOT your average car show... far from it. Not only will we hundreds of traditional hot rods and custom cars but RumbleFest will feature more than a dozen of the best Rockabilly, Surf and Roots Rock n' Blues bands from across the Midwest.... three stages with music running on the main stage until 11PM each night.

We also have great camping spots available on a first-come basis... some with electricity and water hook-ups.

The show starts Friday afternoon with "Hot Rods on the Midway", swap meet, music on the Main Stage and more. RumbleFest will also host a drive-in movie right behind the main grandstand. We are proud to feature Faith Granger's critically acclaimed film "Deuce of Spades" as our feature film.

Park your hot rod or grab a lawn chair and enjoy the movie ... a film that has been praised by Hot Rod Magazine as the "Best Hot Rod movie since American Graffiti".

Swap meet and vendor sales start when the gates open at 4PM...

Saturday the gates open at 9AM and there will be a full day with lots of things to do or see. The pin-up girl contest, swap meet, vendors selling memorabilia, t-shirts, vintage clothes and more. The mini-bike drags start at 11AM plus we'll have a ladies' roller derby demo, dunk tank, bands on three stages, "Hot Rod Trivia" contests and lots more. There will be a "bounce house" for the kids and the Mid-State Sisters of Skate will operate the dunk tank as a fundraiser for their club.

Saturday afternoon we will also welcome the vintage modified stock cars on the 1/3 mile fairgrounds dirt track. The folks from two groups, the Milwaukee Stock Car club and the Vintage Modified Stock Car club will be on hand with their "coupe modifieds" to run some laps on the track. Many of these cars and drivers are the same ones that blasted around the dirt ovals here in Wisconsin during the period from the 1950's thru the 1970's. This will be the first time these cars have taken to the track at Amherst and it should be a great show!

After the modifieds are done, show cars will have a chance at taking "Hot Rod Hot Laps" around the dirt oval, too.

Saturday's music line-up includes the legendary Trashmen... their show starts at 7:30PM. Don't miss it!

Sunday's show will continue with more cars, more music (until 11PM), more swap meet and vendors plus a great concert in the Beer Garden starting at 8PM. Fireworks at dusk. Show closes at 11PM

We will have great food available all weekend plus cold beer and beverages. "Dubba's BBQ" will be serving their famous BBQ smoked right on the grounds... pulled pork, ribs and Texas-style beef brisket...mmmmmm. "More Cheese Please" will offer hand-cut fries, fresh breaded cheese curds and yummy nachos. All that plus char-grilled burgers, hot dogs, brats, sweet corn and more!

Tickets are $15.00 for a weekend pass. Daily admission is  $6.00 for Friday with Saturday and Sunday $8.00 each day. Kids 15 and under free with a paid adult admission.

Show cars are admitted free but each driver and passenger must purchase a wristband for admission
